Wow! Not a post since April! That's amazing. Well not for me. I'm a blogger of convenience. I do it when I remember or when I have something to say. I have tons of posts rattling around in my head. I have a post brewing for tomorrow.
Here was my day yesterday....
Work from 7am to 4pm - I was in a web class on Excel - Super Boring!
Walk the dogs - They missed their morning walk with the Hubby, so I took them.
Sand the table - I have been working to refinish a table and chairs from Hubby's grandmother. Because we are getting the tile done, I'm trying to finish the table and chairs to go into the dining room with the new floor.
Get the hammer drill - Our neighbors borrowed it over the weekend and the Hubby needed it.
Rip out the carpet, tack strip and baseboard - I did the entry to the master, master bath, vanity and closet.
Help hubby remove the tile from the entry - which included shoveling broken tile into the garbage can.
No I didn't forget to enter dinner, I just forgot to eat dinner!
Needless to say I was so tired by the time I went to bed a little after 10pm.
No really, it is! We are having tile put in most of the living areas and my husband is doing the "demo". Which means demolition!! Yes, that is what is looks like, too. I'm currently sitting on my sofa. What you ask is my sofa sitting on? The slab!! All of my living room and dining room furniture is where it is normally, except sitting on the slab of the house. My hallway is already torn out, as well as the guest bath. Which coincidentally is the bathroom I use to get ready for work. Next to be torn out is the master bath, the entry to the master and our closet. I'll post pictures when I can get to my camera cord, it fell into a land mine and may never been seen again.
I have had a fascination with Texas since I visited in 2004. I love it there. I secretly wanted to move there after visiting......Fast forward to last week when the Hubby came home and said that he was going to Texas. I immediately bounced (just a little) and said that I wanted to go. I thought he meant on a business trip. Well, he may be the rep for his father's company that will relocate to Texas to begin the expansion into the state. It looks like I may get to move to Texas. Here is the problem. I'm part of a training program at work and I'm in training for the next year. They have branches in Texas so I could transfer, but I would be here for a year with Hubby in Texas.
